About Us

HASC Louisiana (Health & Safety Council Louisiana) is a nonprofit, industry-driven organization dedicated to building safe workplaces through comprehensive safety training and occupational health services. As a regional affiliate of the Health & Safety Council, HASC Louisiana supports contractors and employers across the state, particularly within the petrochemical, oil and gas, energy, and industrial sectors.

HASC Louisiana delivers Safety Essentials®, the standardized Process Safety Management (PSM) contractor orientation designed to streamline site access and reduce duplicate training. In addition to core orientations, HASC Louisiana offers a wide range of classroom and customized safety training programs, supervisor development courses, and site-specific solutions tailored to employer needs.

Complementing its training services, HASC Louisiana provides occupational health services, including drug and alcohol testing, fit testing, immunizations, background checks, and telemedicine support. Mobile services further enhance access by bringing testing and training directly to job sites.
